The Contract Administration Services Director oversees the preparation of proposals and negotiation and administration of contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Responsible for activities in the organization's contracts administration function. Being a Contract Administration Services Director may assist in the negotiation of contract terms and assessment of contract proposals. Directs contract administration staff and provides guidance on complex contracts. In addition, Contract Administration Services Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Contract Administration Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
