The Water/Wastewater Processing Plant Manager establishes sampling and testing systems, and ensures proper testing of functionality of pumps, conveyors, blowers, and other equipment. Manages the operations of a wastewater treatment plant to ensure compliance with regulatory procedures and reporting practices. Being a Water/Wastewater Processing Plant Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree or other tech degree. Monitors federal, state, and local regulations and environmental guidelines and creates and updates wastewater treatment procedures to adhere to those regulations. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
