The Operations Research Analytics and Modeling Team Lead guides modeling and evaluation processes to determine the effectiveness of current operational activities and to determine problem areas and develop solutions. Oversees the collection and analysis of data to evaluate operational difficulties and make recommendations to solve problems. Being an Operations Research Analytics and Modeling Team Lead requires a bachelor's degree. Acts as advisor to operations research team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. In addition, Operations Research Analytics and Modeling Team Lead typically reports to a manager. The Operations Research Analytics and Modeling Team Lead manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Working as an Operations Research Analytics and Modeling Team Lead typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
