Job Description

The Product Lifecycle Manager implements standard operating procedures to guide the forecasting of demand and profitability for potential products and drive branding and marketing strategies. Manages a product's lifecycle to ensure profitability and increase brand presence and awareness. Being a Product Lifecycle Manager leads and mentors the product management team and acts as a point of guidance for complex or unusual issues. Reviews marketing metrics and customer feedback to understand market trends and customer behavior and drive decision-making. In addition, Product Lifecycle Manager collaborates with marketing and product development departments to ensure business and customer needs are incorporated into product design and marketing campaigns. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product Lifecycle Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as a Product Lifecycle Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
