Job Description

The UI Designer/Developer Entry handles projects from conceptualization through delivery. Designs web pages and develops web-based technical solutions that engage users and meet business requirements. Being an UI Designer/Developer Entry designs and develops the web infrastructure including back-end database development and the construction of SQL queries via CGI scripting. Develops and applies creative designs, ensuring that content meets brand standards and targets the intended audience. In addition, UI Designer/Developer Entry tests and improves site usability while ensuring optimal performance on a variety of browsers. Requires knowledge of web technologies and tools such as HTML, Shockwave, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Flex, Adobe Flash, JavaScript, CSS, Ruby, Python, PERL, PHP, Active Server Pages, and C++. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being an UI Designer/Developer Entry work is closely managed.
