Job Description for Asst. Professor - Industrial Engineering New Search   
Conducts college-level courses in the field of industrial engineering. Areas of instruction include engineering theories that teach students to design, analyze, and implement production or service systems with the goal of improving quality and productivity. Responsible for preparing and delivering lectures and leading classroom discussions. May administer and grade examinations or delegate the task to others. Requires a doctorate degree in area of specialty and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a department head.
