Provides and supports patients with personal care. Assists and trains patient/client and family in activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting and elimination, and adequate nutritional intake. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. May be expected to meet certain state certifications, and be CPR certified. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a registered nurse.
